Insufficient or inappropriate testing can prove costly for all parties. We utilize proven procedures and specialized equipment to locate every contributing factor to create a conclusive report.

SAPLL utilize both 40+ years of experience and the latest specialized leak location equipment to allow testing of all services within the water damaged areas without damage to the client's property. We specialize in the testing of all plumbing services, all wet areas and global testing to assist with engineering reports.

We realize that when removal of wall cladding, timber flooring, concrete paths etc. are necessary, it can come at a real cost. Even when areas are reinstated, they can appear visibly different, as matching tiles, timber work etc are frequently unavailable. Removal and replacement is always a last resort.

Thermal Imaging/ Moisture Meter

​Thermal imaging cameras help locate hidden leaks by detecting temperature differences behind walls or under floors. This non-invasive method quickly identifies moisture sources, reducing damage and speeding up repair work with pinpoint accuracy.​​

Pipe location Equipotent 

​Pipe location equipment helps trace the exact path of underground or hidden pipes. This ensures accurate leak detection by identifying pipe routes before inspection, reducing guesswork and avoiding unnecessary damage.

Acoustic Diagnostic Equipment 

Acoustic sounding equipment detects leaks by capturing and analyzing the unique sounds produced by escaping water in pressurized pipes. Using sensitive ground microphones with data loggers technicians can accurately pinpoint leaks across various surfaces, ensuring precise detection with minimal disruption to property or infrastructure.​​​

Plumbing Repairs & Billing ​

Should non-urgent plumbing repairs be required, SAPLL can supply a written quotation. Our rates are cost effective and we only engage registered Master Plumbers who are experienced in this type of work. SAPLL’s standard practice is to split the invoice as follows:

Inv 1 Exploratory work and make good 
Inv 2 Actual pipe repair at owners cost.

Reducing Damage If plumbing faults have been identified as the cause of the resultant water damage, SAPLL will liaise with the appropriate parties while on site. This allows for the repair to be dealt with as a matter of urgency which reduces the risk of further damage.
